Hi! Welcome to my classified ad for my TVR Chimaera 500.. It has been enjoyed and maintained by me and a local specialist for around 3 years now and is in great shape. It has a new engine fitted that only has around 10k miles on it and this shows in the way that it starts on the button and pulls with incredible power. The engine was rebuilt to original TVR specifications without any modifications other than carbon trumpets and fully ported inlets and exhausts.. She runs like a sewing machine (a very loud sewing machine!!).
She has power steering (New pump!) and sage and biscuit interior. She could really do with a tidy up inside. New Mats and some tinkering would make her look fabulous.
In the time I have owned her the following work has been done:
Battery replaced and moved to boot with new cabling throughoutFusebox moved behind passenger seatMirrors replacedEngine replaced with new uprated clutchSteering pump and hoses replaced.There is a load of parts that I have collected over time.. These will all go with the car when sold. I wont list them out but they include things such as a full set of bushes (whole chassis worth).
Had some questions from people about the chassis and outriggers.. The chassis is in great condition and the outriggers are original as in the pictures.. Could do with a brush and lick of paint.... The windscreen has no delamination that I can see..
Truly explosive performance from the new engine that feels like new.
