TVR Griffith 500 (1994) Pre-serp with just 16000 recorded miles, metallic sky blue with grey leather and navy carpet. This car has been confirmed by the TVR Owners Club as the fourth 500 built. A ‘barn find’ in 2010, I have owned this car for five years and lovingly restored it as a hobby, spending around £13000 (excluding my labour) to bring the car back to life. The car has the original number plate L500 GRF and will come with a full 12 months MOT, handbook and ‘The Bible’. New parts include hood, oak dash, Leven accessories, upgraded gauges, refurbished leather, electrics, new door mirrors, refurbished callipers, new discs and pads, new wishbones, Nitron Adjustable shocks, differential, anti-roll links, polyurethane suspension bushes, cooling system and ignition system overhaul…the list goes on. The car comes with a full history report detailing ownership history, restoration, photos, costs, MOTs, road tax and the story of the car’s journey so far, available as a pdf upon request. The car was originally a demonstrator and then the second owner crashed it, damaging the front end bodywork, windscreen and leather dash. The third owner repaired the car, but left it in the garage for a decade which is why the mileage is so low. This is a Cat D (uneconomic to repair but no structural damage), but the only evidence of this is on the HPI report. Mechanically the car is in good condition as is the interior, but would ideally benefit from a re-spray.
