1991 TVR S3C 2.9 V6
In great overall condition.
Engine, transmission, steering, suspension, clutch, drive train and brakes are all very good. Always starts first time.
Drives very well and is still quick and has a lovely V6 exhaust sound.
No strange noises from the engine or gearbox. Does not burn oil or drink coolant. Steering is not power-assisted.
Basic details (In no particular order.)
Cardinal red (flat, not metallic).
Alloy roof struts (Chimaera/Griffith type).
Gaz adjustable shocks (ride height and damping).
Bridgestone ER30 tyres, size 205/60VR15 - all in very good condition with around 6mm of tread.
All original OZ seven spoke alloy wheels are in very good condition, with no scuffs, rubs or kerb marks.
Silicone ACT coolant hoses (black) fitted last year.
Recently replaced brake servo unit.
Recently replaced rear brake slave cylinders.
Recent new battery
Black leather seats, black trim and carpets, all with red piping.
Red leather dash and switch panel.
Leven alloy handbrake grip.
Leven alloy pedal plates.
Alloy gear knob.
Sony 4 speaker Radio / Digital media player, model DSX-A40UI (no CD)
S4 bonnet fitted from new (no bulge) with Chimaera-type side slats.
Removable roof panels would benefit from being recovered, though they are perfectly usable and are waterproof.
Original roof panel storage covers.
Rear window and folding roof section in very good condition.
Space saver spare with original cover.
Original jack and brace in bag .
Fully working alarm and immobiliser with remote control.
Bodywork and paintwork in good condition for age
Chassis in good condition, including outriggers.
Substantial history file.
Original owner"s manual and service book showing stamps up to 2002 and 79504 miles
All electrics working (except mirrors, but these can be easily adjusted by hand).
Radiator re-cored last year.
Standard stainless exhaust system (with cats removed).
An incorrect speedo sender is installed on the gearbox causing the speedo to show exactly double the speed and clock up double the mileage. I intend to fit a new correct unit before sale is completed.
Overall, a really nice car, in very good mechanical condition, with patina commensurate with age, ready to be used and enjoyed, with no nasty surprises waiting for the new owner.
Any inspection is very welcome and encouraged (low-angle ramps available for underside examination).
Test drive on proof of insurance and licence.
