Reluctantly selling my favourite car, im going to be a granddad soon and I need something more ... well.. fitting.
I love this car, it has never let me down once, and always fun to drive.
Black VVTI Toyota Celica ..
Its in ok condition on the inside, normal wear and tear, seats are not in a bad condition, but normal light wear, no tears. or holes. Gear box is sweet, without any noise or grinding at all, clutch still good. These cars apparently lose oil, however I was told by the previous owner that the car had been fully serviced and all necessary work had been carried out including fixing the oil problem. I have used about 2 litres in 3 years, I wouldn"t consider that a problem.
I have removed the double din Sony head unit it came as standard with, replacing this with a shelf and a single din head unit, no cd player but connects using sd card/usb stick/Bluetooth ... sounds good. You can also use this as a hands free Bluetooth phone.
It has a full MOT as of today.
Rear discs and pads replaced 12 months ago. New radiator fitted 2 years ago.
THE BAD BITS.
The windscreen has a small stone chip.. its been ike that for 12 months. It"s a small stone chip.
The passenger wing mirror glass is cracked. I went to get a replacement one from Halfords, they said they could get me one the next day for 13.99. However the car passed its mot with it as an advisory instead.
The alloys could do with refurbing, typical Toyota Celica alloys.
The worst thing.. small 3 inch dent behind the passenger door below the little window. its creased the line a little, it can be seen in the pictures. I have had a quote of filling it, spraying it to match and touching up some paint on the bumper for £200, so it can be fixed easily and cheaply.
That"s pretty much it, Its a bargain, at £1000. Great deal for someone who wants a reliable car and can throw some cosmetic work in and its a lovely classic Celica.. fast, reliable, good looking.
Im looking for a quick sale, please only commit if you are definitely going to buy, no tyre kickers please... and sensible offers will be accepted.
Cash on collection obviously :)
