Here is my1993 K-Reg Lancia THEMA TURBO 16V LS
This is a VERY RARE Thema Turbo Series 3, DOFR registration 01/06/93, with the later 205bhp engine.I am in grateful receipt of information that perhaps only 95 of these cars were sold new here in the UK over a VERY short period of time.How many of these rare to start with cars have survived ?? - I can only surmise that perhaps there are only a handful left.

I have just bought a new business and also welcomed a new addition to our family 3 months ago so I have decided to sell the car because as one may imagine, quite simply I no longer have the time to devote in doing what is required to get it back on the road.
I bought the car in mid-2017 and it had last been on the road in 2007 - the last MOT expired on 10th April 2007.
The car was not running when I bought it - this is because the coolant pipes and HT leads had perished through long term storage prior to my ownership. I decided not to try and start the car due to any potential issue that may arise with the existing cam belt.
With eVERY intention to get the car running again, so far I have checked and can indeed confirm that manually, the engine does turn freely and is after a compression test, is over 200psi across all 4 cylinders.The car has a new yuassa battery fitted with a 3yr guarantee.New brake discs and pads have been fitted to the front, as have 2 new tyres.New discs, pads and 2 tyres for the rear as well as a new set of Magnecor HT leads were also bought at the same time but due to simply not having the time, these have not been fitted but will of course come with the car, ready for fitting by the new owner.
As can be seen in the pictures, the OSF wing needs replacing BUT I have sourced another wing in VERY good condition (in blue metallic) which once again, will also come with the car.
The few items item I had not managed to source this far, is replacement coolant pipes and hoses, OSF headlight as well as indicator unit but with a little time and looking around, this should not be difficult to do.
The front bumper will need some repair to the fibre glass on the OS drivers side.
There is a small surface patch of rust on the OSR corner of the roof but as the steel is galvanised, it has not rotted and gone through and will be easy enough to rectify.
The underside of the car is rust free but because the Hormann Body kit covers the sills, I have not been able to inspect them. The handbrake cable and the brake calipers look to have been changed in the past as they are in VERY good order.
The interior of the car does need a good clean and sadly a mouse has devoured an area of the rear seats" suede/alcantara and filling.
One set of keys and immobiliser fob is present.
I did not receive a V5 when I purchased the car and have not applied for it but this can easily done by the next owner.
There is of course, some history with the car in the form of old MOT"s and receipts etc.
Obviously, the car moves around freely but will need to be collected on a trailer as it does not currently run and is not road legal.
This car would be a great opportunity for someone with a little more time than I have to spare, to bring this VERY rare and ever appreciating Series 3 Lancia Thema Turbo back to life and its former glory as there surely there may only be a handful of this particular model.
