Here for sale is my 1983 VW mk1 golf 1.5 gx 5 door manual. This car has covered only 50000 miles and has had every mot and receipt kept for every part fitted over the past 34 years, including the original bill of sale and delivery note from where the car was first purchased from a Northwood garage in London. Since then the car has had 4 very careful owners and it is living proof to that in its immaculate condition for age. The car is totally solid with virtually no rust atall and I believe it to be in its original paint. Underneath the car is as equally clean as the bodywork which is totally straight from front to back, again with NO rust. Mechanically the car has no faults and drives like a 1983 car should. Holds all fluids and has no noises or bangs. The interior again is as clean as the rest of it with virtually no wear to drivers seat bolster or any other for that matter. Back seat still feels new and I believe has rarely been sat in. All door cards inerior trim are there and are in excellent condition including the parcel shelf. The car is still fitted with its original radio keeping it 100% original. Both drivers and passangers doors lock and unlock with keys and rear doors lock and unlock with knobs All widows wind up and down as should. The car is fitted with a factory sunroof and is in excellent working condition with 100% no leaks. Over all the interior of the car is as clean as the rest and is dry with no moisture getting in anywhere. Just recently the car has had just under £800 spent on it doing the following work. New front discs and pads, new handbrake cables, clean and adjust rear brake shoes, new gear linkages. Full exhaust from down pipe back, full service including points and condenssor. All this has been carried out from a local garage to me and I have all receipts to prove it. New MOT for 1 year November 2018.
This car is in overall show room condition for its age and has been garaged for most of its life. I have lots of photos of the car including underneath which can be sent on request.
