 here is my BMW 330ci for sale that ive owned and enjoyed for the last 4 years. 91521 miles.
first things first i bought the car as a category c write off, it took a bang in the front and i replaced the passenger side wing, bonnet, bumper and radiator and it passed the vosa test.
being old as spares or repair for the following reasons:-
brake warning light has come on on the dashboard, this happened just after i replaced the rear brake discs-not sure if i knocked a sensor or something when i put the discs on.
engine warning light is also on, but does turn itself off now and again - one of the air intake pipes does have a split in it, it may just suck extra air in and trigger the light. no loss of power or any difference in driving.
it has a rusty driver side wing (see photo) and some bubbles starting to show around driver rear arch. few age related scratches here and there.
theres a creaking noise coming from the front, possibly wishbone ball joints.
needs some tyres all around, front ones worn on the inside possibly due to the bang it had or above ball joints being worn. wheels have curb marks.
i fitted a m3 front bumper when i repaired the car, what i didnt know was the arches on a m3 are wider than a standard car so theres a gap between wings and arches! it doesnt look too bad but up to you if you want to put a standard bumper on it.
it has no tax and is currently on a sorn, mot runs out 1st of november 2014.
service history is missing, the manuals were missing when i bought the car-i have bought the BMW manuals and service pack (at a cost of £55) and BMW have given me a phone number to restamp any service history they have on their system.
this car has served me brilliantly for the last 4 years, if i had the time i would sort the problems out myself but ive bought another car and just want to get it off my dads drive.
ive tried to be as honest as i can about the car and its faults, so please no timewasters- it has a low starting price due to its faults and will make a brilliant car for someone who has the time to repair her, or strip her for spares.
