For sale my cross fire.
I looked for an age to find a good one and this is it in the classic colour with contrasting trim.
I have owed and loved it for a year using it at weekends and the odd trip to work.
The Car is back on its 04 plate and reads LEO 4*** so looks ok without private plate.
The car is as good as you will get for the age with only minor age related marks and look very good. The interior is also very good with very little sign of wear. Wheels are mostly good but would benefit from a refurb to bring back to new standard.
These cars are a modern classic and will soon start to appreciate especially those under 06 plate due to lower tax bracket.
The car is faultless, bags of power and grunt and I will be putting through MOT next week so will come with full 12 months MOT for new owner.
There is some service history / history of service from previous owner and I serviced the car last year when I got it to be sure and it’s only done few 1000 miles since. There is two keys in good condition.
Smooth auto box, cruise control, aircon, and retractable fin all in great condition - for those who don"t know these cars are basically a Mercedes SLK in disguise so just about bullet proof.
Currently it’s on 53K backed up by MOT reports, which may go up as I will be using the car weekends until she goes.
Genuine reason for sale is that I’m making room in the garage to get a new project to play with after making some repairs to the garage.
I am open to realistic offers near the mark / PX offers (ebay rules) for something interesting - motorbike / cabriolet / 7 seater, cash either way considered, but no rubbish please must be good condition with low miles or tax exempt project type vehicle.
I am in no rush to sell and will not respond to daft offers as not to offend.
Terms: although is super condition the car is used and therefore not in new condition and I cannot accept returns, I will required a £50 deposit to secure the car which will be non-refundable.
Cash is good however I will accept paypal with buyer paying 3% on top of purchase price.
Test drives advised – money to be in my hand first and driver to have valid insurance.
