A truly stunning example of the Lancia DELTA HF Integrale 16V.
Known widely as a Group A rally icon, the 2.0 turbocharged, AWD, 16V Integrale was developed for rallying and first introduced at the 1989 Geneva Motor Show. This particular vehicle needing little introduction having been imported from Italy in September of 2001 and cherished since. Odometer reads in KM and displays 121644KM which equates to 75586 miles from new.
On the road it is a phenomenal drive. A real throw-back for all the right reasons! It goes through all gears as expected and makes all the right noises. Handling is sharp and precise, the engine pulls well with good torque and it tracks perfectly true. For a model designed for rallying, there is a surprising absence of rattles, and even rarer still, all the instruments work as they should, including the oil pressure gauge which shows good oil pressure and all the signs of a healthy engine. Factory performance figures include a 200bhp output at the flywheel and a 0-60 mph time in the 5.7 second region. The interior benefits from full black leather, which is not only comfortable but also in very good condition, with virtually no bolster wear as you would typically expect to find. Everything works including the electric windows, stereo and heater blower. The eagle eyed may notice the aftermarket Italian Momo steering wheel, however, included is the original Lancia item that we are happy to refit. Exterior condition is excellent with glossy red paintwork (arguably the best Integrale colour) and recently refurbished wheels all shod with premium Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres. None of the common areas show any signs of corrosion and the underneath is all in good order too. The headlights are correct RHD items and were purchased new in 2017. Under the bonnet is on par with the rest of the vehicle. Most parts still show their original zinc plating, the cam cover has no paint flaking and the fluids are all clean. Provenance includes a number of historic tax discs, a variety of previous MOT certificates from its first UK MOT through to its most current, a number of receipts and invoices for servicing and repairs, of which a few recent and notable examples are detailed below, and the original Lancia book pack. Two keys are present, as is the spare wheel and current V5 document. Recently MOT"d the certificate shows no advisories and is current until 11th April 2019. May 2017 - £1724 - Invoice for work including a full service, brake fluid change and new RHD headlights. March 2016 - £716 - Invoice/receipt for a full wheel refurbishment including powder coated centres and diamond cut outer lip. February 2016 - £1232 - Invoice for a full cam belt and tensioner kit along with a new water pump, balance belt & tensioner, aux belt & tensioner and 4 wheel alignment. I strongly suspect this is the best example of a 16V HF Intergrale currently on the market and a sure fire investment. It is finished in the best colour, with the right wheels, no untoward modifications, reasonably low mileage and is genuinely a jump in and drive, usable, classic!
