listing for a friend with no internet, I also registered it and commisioned it for civilian use when he 1st bought a couple of years ago,, bought direct MOD (he the first registered civilian owner on v5) the Land rover is a 1994 and has the L prefix number plate, we feel it had served its military life in a hot climate perhaps cyprus? the chasis had no rust rot or welding, outriggers bulkhead all excellant,, I really do suspect it has not spent any time in the UK climate,, 1st thing i did was wash the chassis and gave it a preserving coat of dinnitrol cavity fluid allowed that to get where it needed to go (in all the openings in the chassis etc) left it two days then overcoated in dinnitrol undersealant I think dinnitrol is far superior to the waxoil and shultz product (just my opinion) the chassis therefore has the protection required. It required a new ignition barrel which was fitted, and flew through its test. for test this year it needed a exhaust this has been done and yet again she flew straight threw. has the 2.5 Na engine and no power steering starts all weathers but this is the ideal base for tdi conversion due to its sound condition and 1994 year. wolf wheels all with G90 tyres speedo is in kms showing just over 154,000kms (approx 95,000 miles) viewing welcome before auction end located in northallerton north yorks
