Stunning Manual SLK 350 in Black - Fully loaded.
Don"t be put off by the mileage! It has a comprehensive MB MD Service History.
I bought this car for last summer and had planned to let the Wife keep it. However she"s announced that she wants an automatic and 4 seats to transport the Grand kids about so who am I to argue!
I can"t praise this Car enough. I"ve owned several Porsche"s and other 2 seater roadsters over the years and this one stands level with them all. It"s really sweet as a manual as it offers you the drive-ability the car deserves. Also having the solid roof is fantastic. I specifically didn"t want a model with the AMG bigger alloys as they make the ride harder and compromise its ability on most UK roads. This thing is as quick as a Boxster S and twice as practical.
The Car does have higher mileage but has full Mercedes Benz service history with the only deviation being an interim service by the dealer I bought the car off. However I know the dealer very well and I ensured all the right fluids and details were correct. I looked at several manual SLK 350"s with much lower mileage and all were in far worse condition than mine at that price point.
I immediately put 4 brand new Yokohama tyres on the car when I bought it and they"re pretty much still brand new. I"ve only done circa 2k since I bought it. The car is fully loaded with electric memory seats, leather, Nav, Harmon Kardon, cruise etc. etc... The roof works beautifully and never misses a beat with no leaks or issues.
In the interests of complete honesty I"ll detail the faults: -
- Passenger Seat Air Scarf needs looking at. In fairness the wife uses the heated seat and doesn"t know the Air Scarf exists so never caused me a problem!
- Drivers Seat heater - The air Scarf works perfectly but the heater won"t stay on. After looking at owners forums I believe it"s a regular problem but relatively easily diagnosed and fixed.
- It occasionally says it has a lamp failure when there isn"t one but this I believe is a common Merc system issue. Usually next time you start up it"s gone.
Apart from the above the Car is in really great condition and great fun to drive.
