TVR Chimaera 4.5 (The best one!) in Rosso Red
Well I have always wanted a TVR and having read around and done quite allot of research I was lead away from the Cerbera (my dream car) and toward a Chimaera, then I had to decide which of the three to choose. The 4.0 lacks the guts and the 5.0 has a crank made from old biscuit tins so that was out of the question hence I bought a 4.5 widely regarded as the best all rounder and this one  is also a late model (1998) so comes with many improvements over the earlier cars, however what I really wanted was a Cerbera and ever since buying this I just cant get the Cerbera out of my head hence I have decided to sell the Chim and complete my dream of owning a Cerbera for better or for worse. 
A month ago I paid a local TVR specialist £3018.79 to perform an overhaul on the car which included the following:New outriggers powdercoated whiteThe entire chassis waxoiledPerform a full 12k service (the biggest one)Replace the steering UJ"s with brand new onesBrand new fuel linesNew CV bootsNew Rear brake padsNew Windscreen wipersThe 12k service includes all fluids and filters, engine, differential, gearbox etc. and I have the invoice to back this up. I also have old receipts from racing green and Fernhurst TVR which total £££££££ as you would expect plus the service book full of old stamps as follows:

At this point it appears to have been laid up for quite a while then used by me, the current mileage is 61738 and three previous owners. The car is mechanically standard but does benefit from the following extras:Pioneer sound system, blue tooth connectivity and ipod supportLeven technology billet aluminium interior setLeven technology dashboardVery rare and valuable 500 Estoril wheelsLeven charging and jump start kitNew AFM (not yet fitted)Power steeringThe car also appears to have had a full respray in its recent past as there are barely any stone chips to the front of the car and the paint is incredible, The pictures do it justice and were taken on a sunny day just last week. This paint job in itself would have cost in the region of £4000 or more. there are a few light marks here and there but it really is the tidiest chim I have seen bodywork wise. The interior is also in very nice condition and the drivers seat whilst showing signs of wear still looks very presentable and could be brought up to the same standard as the rest of the interior very easily.

Diff is noisey so would benefit from a rebuild The power steering has a slow leak, I have just been topping it up as requiredI would encourage viewing but please note that you will not be driving the car without the full amount in my hand and proof of insurance however I am happy to take you for a drive.
